experiment w/ Kate's green logo - Dianna

Just wanted to see what Katherine's one variation would look like in the map; figured I might as well post it. Pretend like the colors work. PS that's obviously live traced on the right- my fontbook is being difficult in recognizing Harabrararaar.

....and a few more. When I went to install Harabara on my computer, it recommended that I DON'T. So i just looked for a different one to use, at least for now.

more logo ideas-kate

So I think the filled in countours are too much to send them right now. Maybe even color is too much. I think we should give them the basic concept right now, black and white with the map and see what they say about the layout/typeface. But here are three more layout ideas to go with it.

some ideas from Jesse

Ok guys, well these are just some ideas I worked up quickly. Dianna, when I took down the size of the map the dividing lines got too small, and the edges were very rough as well. But I think that would be fairly easy for you to fix. I just did a quick change for these.

I'm thinking that the colors of the old one I did worked better than your original map colors. (brighter colors = better)

This is just one idea. I'll come up with some more within the next couple days.

Logan Sq Maps

These are what I have come up with - The colors are just spotted from my original south loop map we looked at. If you have any suggestions then shoot me an email, I'd love to hear them. (PS The bottom one is kind of bothering me but I don't know why.)

Font List

Here are the fonts we have been looking at so far. The actual "LOGAN SQUARE" portion will be in Akzidenz bold. We're still looking through possibilities for "I AM."
